People often forget that CPR isn’t just for adults. CPR saves the lives of children, infants, and even animals every day. In fact 92,000 lives are saved with CPR in the US every year, including adults, children, and infants; however, hundreds of thousands more could be saved if more people were equipped with CPR Training. It warms our hearts when a life is saved and especially when it is the life of a child. This video tells the story of how a young woman jumped into action to save her five month old nephew earlier this year.
Training Helps CPR Become 2nd Nature
This young woman managed to save her nephew’s life with CPR even though she “didn’t know how she remember what to do.” Fortunately her CPR training was somewhere in the back of her head, and she was able to act on that training when it counted the most. Too often people with minimal CPR training freeze in the heat of the moment when an emergency strikes, forgetting their training. That is why it is so important to refresh your CPR training and encourage friends and family to learn CPR as well. This story also shows how important it is to learn CPR training for children and infants. With proper training, CPR can eventually become 2nd nature for you and your loved ones, so you will know exactly what to do when it counts the most.
