Heartsaver CPR, AED & First Aid Classes

Heartsaver CPR, AED & First Aid is the primary certification for teachers, coaches, support staff, and school administrators.

This American Heart Association Authorized Training provides the skills and confidence to respond to a wide range of school-based emergencies — from a student collapsing in the hallway to injuries during recess or athletics.

The course includes CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, and First Aid topics such as bleeding, allergic reactions, asthma, seizures, and diabetic emergencies.

Widely accepted by school districts and state education departments, this training helps schools maintain compliance with state-mandated emergency preparedness requirements. Available in both classroom and blended online formats, it’s ideal for busy educators and district-wide group training.

(All certifications are good for two years)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Classes

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is designed for school nurses, health aides, and licensed medical personnel who may respond to student emergencies in a clinical capacity.

This AHA certification course includes high-performance CPR for adults, children, and infants, advanced airway management, use of AEDs, and relief of choking.

BLS is typically required for licensed medical staff working in public and private K–12 schools and is recognized by state boards of nursing and school health departments.

Training is available as a traditional classroom course or a Heartcode BLS hybrid format with online learning followed by an in-person skills evaluation.
